Co-creating the Future

The Embassy of Sweden partners with a number of Swedish companies to organise the Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Week since 2007. The annual high-profile event showcases innovations and creativity of Sweden and Swedish companies with an aim to further enhance the image and interest for Sweden in India.

In the eighth edition of the Week, and for the first time ever, an official program organized by the Nobel Foundation will take place in India. Nobel Media AB and Nobel Museum will bring an exhibition (Ideas Changing the World) and lectures by Nobel Laureates Dr George F. Smoot (Physics) and Dr Finn Kydland (Economic Sciences) to Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune.

The overarching theme for the Week is ‘Sweden Makes in India: Co-creating the Future.’

The Week comprises a number of events ranging from seminars and panel discussions among well-known Indian and Swedish decision makers from government and businesses as well as academia, to competitions for students to cultural performances to exhibitions to the presence of the Nobel

Chef for the Nobel Banquet among other things. These events will take place across Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Guwahati, Indore and New Delhi. (Detailed program.)
